Frequently Asked Questions
1. Does STR guarantee the timeframe until success?
On average Sino-Trade Rescue missions last 4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the transaction. At the "Plan" stage we give you an accurate idea of when the case will be wrapped up, pinpointing a "case-closed" target date. We cannot guarantee this timeframe, but we aim to be very close, or even early. STR cannot be held responsible for variables that are introduced by your company or the Chinese side after the Verify and Diagnose stages. For this reason, project managers ask many questions during those stages and ask for your complete support.
2. Can STR guarantee the quality of the goods?
We make it part of our service to collect all quality documentation from the Chinese company (e.g. ISO, testing, standard certificates, etc.). If quality isn’t something that has been confirmed by your company before coming to STR, we can arrange for a specialist, 3rd party, to check on the goods for an additional nominal fee.
3. Can STR guarantee the goods will arrive safely to port?
No we cannot, that is why STR strongly recommends to get the goods insured during shipping. There are several types of insurance that STR can organize and they are usually cheap - around 1% of the goods value. Please contact STR to get your shipping covered.
4. Can STR guarantee the accuracy of its legal or technical translations?
Yes, absolutely. STR managers have over 20 years experience in managing professional translations from Chinese to the world main languages. Furthermore if it is found by our review process that STR has not followed correctly its translation process, we will either fix the translation or refund the translation fee.
5. Can STR guarantee that we will get regular communication in our language regarding the progress of the deal?
STR generally uses English to communicate with clients. However, let us know if having communication in your language is imperative. Then, if we have a project manager who is bilingual in your language we will assign them to you. If it is an uncommon language and not part of our company in-house resources, we will have all communication translated into your language for an additional fee.
